Here's some instrumental space music birthed from the union of two of the juiciest chunks of Bloomington's weirdo underbelly (Colin Jenkins a.k.a. Canid & John Flannelly) shortly before both folks skipped town. This nearly hour-long set of improvisations (recorded in a dark basement lit only by a slowly melting wizard-shaped candle) includes some of the most potent work yet for either artist. After a bit of listening, time and space aren't really around any more. The recordings illuminate the best of the duo's shared tendency to gaze deep and explore new worlds.
